$2,000,000.00 gross verdict in a wrongful death case against Cleveland Area Hospital. A patient developed pneumonia which was not properly diagnosed or treated. He was sent home and died shortly thereafter. The jury found in favor of the Plaintiff but found the deceased to be 35% at fault, to the verdict was reduced to $1,300,000.00.

$1,500,000.00 verdict in a case involving a Keller ladder. The ladder collapsed, causing our client to fall. He suffered fractures on both arms and injuries to his neck and back.

$1,222,000.00 jury verdict in Creek County in favor of a small business owner who sued for lost income and profits. The Plaintiff made a certain product out of rubber. The supplier of the rubber improperly and without notice changed the formula for the product, which in turn resulted in the Plaintiff making product that did not meet specs.

$950,000.00 verdict against Sunbeam for defective electric blanket. A 75 year old woman died when her electric blanket caught fire due to an electrical malfunction. The verdict included $450,000.00 in punitive damages.

$750,000.00 verdict against General Motors in a case where the seat belt was defective. The seat belt had too much slack built into it. The driver was involved in a wreck caused by another driver’s negligence. His seat belt did not restrain him and he suffered multiple injuries to his face and neck, requiring extensive surgeries.

$500,000.00 verdict in a wrongful death case for failure to diagnose a subarachnoid hemorrhage in a hospital emergency room. The patient presented with all the signs of a bleed in the brain, but they failed to diagnose the condition and sent him home, where he died shortly thereafter.

$500,000.00 jury verdict in a case involving an automatic door that closed and knocked down an 84 year old woman. She suffered a fractured hip and died a few years later. The door was not properly maintained by Sutherland’s.

$136,500.00 jury verdict in favor of a construction worker. He was working on the ground level at a construction site when another worker fell out of a window and landed on the Plaintiff, who suffered a broken collarbone, and neck and back injuries.
